Storing your clients' loyalty program memberships (airlines, hotels, car rentals, and more) means you always have their details on hand when making bookings. Use this guide when you need to add, update, or remove a loyalty program from a client's profile. By the end, you'll be able to manage all of a client's membership numbers and program categories in one place.

Before You Start

  • Have the client's membership number ready

  • Know the loyalty program name (e.g., Delta SkyMiles, Marriott Bonvoy)

  • Understand the program category (airline, hotel, car rental, etc.)

Steps to Add a Loyalty Program

  1. Open the client profile

  2. Click on Edit Client

  3. Click the Loyalty tab

  4. Click Add Program

  5. Fill in the required fields:

    • Program name (required) - e.g., "Delta SkyMiles."

    • Membership number (required) - The client's account number

    • Category (required) - Select from the dropdown:

      • Airlines

      • Hotels

      • Car Rentals

      • Cruise Lines

      • Other

  6. Click Save

What happens next: The program appears in the client's loyalty programs list. You can add multiple programs for the same client.

Viewing Loyalty Programs

  1. Open the client profile

  2. Scroll to the Loyalty Programs section in the bottom left

  3. All programs appear in a list showing:

    • Program name

    • Membership number (last 4 digits visible)

Editing a Loyalty Program

  1. Go to the Clients' Profile

  2. Click on Edit Client

  3. Go to the Loyalty Tab

  4. Click Edit next to the program you want to change

  5. Update the program name, number, or category

  6. Click Save

Removing a Loyalty Program

  1. Go to the Clients' Profile

  2. Click on Edit Client

  3. Go to the Loyalty Tab

  4. Click the Trash Can icon next to the program you want to remove

  5. Confirm deletion in the pop-up

Note: This only removes the loyalty program from the client's profile in Voyagr. It does not affect their actual membership with the loyalty program provider.

Tips

  • Store all programs - Even if a client rarely uses a program, having it on file helps with booking decisions

  • Use full program names - "Marriott Bonvoy" instead of "Marriott" helps avoid confusion

  • Verify membership numbers - Ask clients to confirm their numbers to avoid typos

  • Add programs during onboarding - Collect loyalty information when creating the client profile

Common Issues

Problem

Solution

Can't remember the program name

Search online for the loyalty program or ask the client

The membership number is too long

Double-check the number - you may have included extra characters

Wrong category selected

Edit the program and choose the correct category from the dropdown

The client has multiple accounts for one program

Add each account as a separate program entry

The membership number is partially hidden

This is a security feature - the full number is stored, but onlythe last 4 digits display
