How do I add passport details and travel documents?

Add one or more passports (and visas) from the Documents tab of the client editor, including passport photos and expiration warnings that surface on trips.

Written by Justin Bossi

To add a passport, open the client editor at /edit/{id}, go to the Documents tab, and click Add Passport.

Add a passport:

  1. Open the client's profile and click Edit.

  2. Go to the Documents tab.

  3. Under Passports, click Add Passport.

  4. Fill in the Add Passport dialog:

    • Passport Number

    • Expiration (date)

    • Issuing Country

    • Issue Date

    • Full Name on Passport

    • Birth Place

    • Nationality (select)

    • Passport Type

    • Gender (select)

    • Photo of Document (upload a PDF or image)

  5. Click Save Passport.

Multiple passports

You can add more than one passport per client, which is useful for dual-citizenship travelers. Each passport is a separate row.

Expiration warnings

Voyagr warns you in the trip workspace if a passport expires within six months of any booked trip, so keep the expiration date accurate.

Adding visas

The Documents tab also has a Visas section that works the same way (add, edit, delete), with an extra field for the destination the visa applies to.

Edit or delete a passport

Click the pencil icon on any passport row to edit, or the trash icon to remove it. Deleting a passport also removes its uploaded photo.

What Voyagr doesn't capture today

There are no dedicated fields for Known Traveler Number (KTN), TSA PreCheck, Global Entry, or Redress numbers. If your clients rely on those for domestic US travel, capture them in the client's Preferences notes or a Note on their profile for now.
