When you book a cruise outside of Voyagr, you can record it in a trip by entering the cruise line, ship, cabin details, passenger names, pricing, and confirmation number. This keeps cruise bookings visible alongside flights, hotels, and other trip items. Use this whenever you need to add an externally booked cruise to a client's travel plan.

Tips
Cabin number and deck are important for your client's reference; include them in the notes if known
Include dining preferences (early/late seating, table size) in notes
Add shore excursions as separate tour bookings if booked independently
Gratuities are sometimes included, sometimes separate.
Save the confirmation number for online check-in (usually opens 60-90 days before sailing)
Common Issues
Problem | Solution |
Cabin number not assigned yet | Leave blank and add it later when assigned; note "TBA" in notes |
Pricing fields confusing | Enter exactly what's on your confirmation; use notes for breakdowns |
Passenger names too long | Use abbreviations if necessary; full names can go in notes |
Total price doesn't match | Enter exact total from confirmation; system doesn't auto-calculate |
